How Our Event Planning Process Works

This is the path from a first question to the event. The final scope depends on your agreement and the services you select. A step on this page is not a promise that every task is included.

Festa uses the same customer journey for a birthday, a company gathering, a shower, or a wedding. What changes is the scope you approve. Read this page before you inquire so you know an inquiry is a request for a conversation, not a reserved date.

1. Initial inquiry

Call +1 (214) 783-7310 or use the contact form. Share your name, a way to reach you, the type of event, a desired date, a guest count, and the location if you have one. If email delivery for the form is not configured yet, the form will say so and will not pretend the message was sent. The phone line is the reliable next step until that setup is finished.

2. Understanding the event

Festa asks what the celebration is for, who the guests are, and what has to feel a certain way. This is still a discussion. It is not a contract.

3. Discussing priorities, budget, and requirements

You and Festa talk about what matters most, what the budget needs to cover, and any limits: a venue rule, a work schedule, a child's age, or a family preference. You do not have to know every cost. You do need to say if a number must not be exceeded.

4. Developing the proposed plan

Festa outlines a way to approach the event: timing, the decisions still open, and the tasks that would be part of planning. Options are proposals. They are not booked on your behalf at this stage.

5. Reviewing the quote and service scope

You receive a quote that describes the proposed work. Read it against what you asked for. Third-party costs such as a venue, catering, or entertainment are included only if the quote lists them. You can ask questions before you agree. You can also decide not to proceed.

6. Coordinating agreed arrangements

After both sides agree on the scope, Festa coordinates the items in that agreement. Tasks that were discussed but left out of the agreement are not part of the work. Vendor contracts remain subject to those vendors' terms.

7. Preparing for the event

As the date gets closer, the timeline, confirmations, and open decisions are reviewed. Changes can be discussed. A change can affect the price, the schedule, or what a vendor can still do. Nothing on this page promises a set number of revisions.

8. Executing or supporting the agreed event-day responsibilities

If event-day support is in the agreement, Festa carries out that role. If it is not, the hosts and vendors follow the plan without Festa on site. Either outcome should be obvious from the quote, not discovered on the day.

What this process does not do

It does not reserve a date by itself. It does not guarantee a vendor, a venue, or a particular look. It does not replace a separate service contract if you and Festa decide to work together. Website terms govern use of this site. They are not your event contract.

Pricing questions are collected on the FAQ. Service details live on the services page.

When you are ready, start at step one.

Bring the date, the guest count, and the kind of help you want. Festa will tell you what a quote can and cannot cover.
